GSC SHRM Vision Statement

To be the leading NJ volunteer human resources professionals association by:

  • working through 11 NJ SHRM chapters  and their members 
     
  • forging relationships with the business community and  governmental bodies
     
  • providing leadership development and professional growth opportunities for business professionals and organizations
     
  • offering expertise and guidance on human capital management issues.

As a volunteer organization, in partnership with the 11 NJ SHRM affiliate chapters located throughout the state, we:

  • Support local chapters professionally and monetarily
     
  • Promote the value of volunteerism and volunteer leadership
     
  • Provide leadership and professional growth opportunities at statewide conferences
     
  • Champion HR certification efforts
     
  • Lend HR expertise to the business community to promote economic growth
     
  • Drive legislative advocacy to have our voice heard and to respond to issues affecting business matters
     
  • Develop a strong HR network that will benefit those in need of HR advice
     
  • Promote the highest ethical standards and best business practices for businesses throughout New Jersey
