The Garden State Council – SHRM (GSC) is a state level affiliate of the Society for Human Resources Management. It acts as a liaison between SHRM and its 11 chapters in New Jersey, ensuring that they have the information and resources necessary to carry out SHRM’s mission of "Leading People, Leading Organizations”.  In addition, the GSC implements its own leadership initiatives such as the annual NJ SHRM conference held in October of each year, and establishing partnerships with business-oriented organizations in the state such as the NJ Chamber of Commerce and NJBiz publications.

Join the thousands of chapter members who already benefit from:

  • Networking with Peers: Discuss common issues, challenges and share best practices
  • Professional Growth: Exceptional educational opportunities with leading educators and experts
  • Rewarding Experiences: Advance the Profession through invaluable volunteer positions in the chapter, statewide and nationally.
